Meet the Artists XXX Exhibit

View the works of prominent local African-American artists during this 30th anniversary of one of Indy's most celebrated cultural events. This year's exhibit will feature selections from 11 "Shades of Pearl" spotlighted artists from past Meet the Artists events who have gone on to greater achievements in the art world. The exhibit can be viewed throughout Central Library during regular Library hours. Meet the Artists XXX is presented by the Library's African-American History Committee in support of the Center for Black Literature & Culture at Central Library. It is made possible by the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation, Dr. Michael R. Twyman Endowment Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

If you already know the basics of PowerPoint, learn to enhance your presentations by inserting sounds, video clips, custom animation and scanned images. Participants are asked to bring pictures they wish to scan. Before taking this intermediate class you should already be comfortable using PowerPoint. Minecrafters ages 7 and up are invited to use the Learning Curve’s laptops to mine and build in Central Land, a virtual world hosted on the Curve’s private Minecraft server. Join in a new group build each week, or test your skills in fun Hunger Games-style challenges! This program will be held in the Arena.
