Visit the Nina Mason Pulliam Indianapolis Special Collections Room for an exhibit on letterpress "tools of the trade." The collection by printmaker and collector Dave Peat from "Pressing On: The Letterpress Film" includes specimen books, small toy presses, and Indianapolis printing artifacts dating to the 1800s. This program is made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities and by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

Learn how to organize and analyze numbers and text in a spreadsheet format. By the end of this class you should be able to create and format a spreadsheet; enter and edit data; and use basic formulas to add, subtract, multiply and divide any number of figures in a horizontal row or vertical column. Before taking this class you should be comfortable using Microsoft Word. This program is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. This class will be held in the Computer Training Lab.
