Visit the Nina Mason Pulliam Indianapolis Special Collections Room for an exhibit on letterpress "tools of the trade." The collection by printmaker and collector Dave Peat from "Pressing On: The Letterpress Film" includes specimen books, small toy presses, and Indianapolis printing artifacts dating to the 1800s. This program is made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities and by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

Adults with little or no experience in using a computer are invited to the Computer Training Lab to learn to use the computer mouse and keyboard, a needed skill in order to use a computer and the Internet. By the end of this class you should be able to recognize the major parts of a personal computer; understand the meaning of key computer terms; use a mouse and the on-screen cursor to make the computer do what you want it to; understand the parts of the keyboard and how to use them to create, change and delete text, and how to use the Microsoft Windows 7 desktop and toolbars.
