Students in grades 9 - 12 and adults are invited to hear from experts on available scholarships and how to prepare a personal statement. This program is presented by the Indiana Latino Institute.
This program will focus on tips for writing one's personal statement. University experts will provide tips on writing an effective personal statement for college scholarships. There will be follow-up sessions allowing students to sign-up to receive one-on-one review assistance from community volunteers.

Young children ages 3 - 6 are invited for a Straw Rockets lesson! Presented by Engineering for Kids, this program will feature the story, "Roaring Rockets" by Tony Mitton. Children will learn about the important parts of a rocket, including the nose cone and fins. They will then build and launch their very own rockets and get to take them home.
