Spirit & Place Festival: Home Grown, Building Strong Communities Through Food

Explore ongoing national and community efforts to provide healthy food options and learn how we can close the gap of accessibility to healthy food. Presented as part of the 2016 Spirit and Place Festival in partnership with the Indy Food Council and Sun King Brewery, this program will feature Novella Carpenter, author of the bestselling memoir "Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer" and student under Michal Pollan at UC-Berkeley. Also, meet local chefs and leaders in the slow food movement and view the Kelley Jordan Photography exhibit featuring community slow food initiatives.
