An Evening with Young Adult Author Angie Thomas

Teens and adults are invited as popular young adult author Angie Thomas discusses her career and works. Her novel, "The Hate U Give," debuted as a New York Times bestseller in 2017. The book is about an ordinary 16-year-old girl in extraordinary circumstances and addresses issues of racism and police violence with intelligence, heart and unflinching honesty. Book sales will be provided by Kids Ink and autographing will follow the presentation. Seating is limited to 350 in the Clowes Auditorium with overflow seating available elsewhere at Central Library. This program, will be held in Central Library's Clowes Auditorium.
