The Color of Medicine: The Story of Homer G. Phillips Hospital

View the documentary, "The Color of Medicine," that captures the history of medical training of African Americans at Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis. In the film, Dr. Earle U. Robinson, Jr., a second-generation physician and alumnus whose father was one of the first 27 interns to graduate from the hospital, shares his personal story and the significance of the hospital's valuable role in African American history. Dr. Earle U. Robinson, Jr. will be in attendance at the showing. This program, to be held in Central Library's Clowes Auditorium, is presented by the Library's African American History Committee in support of the Center for Black Literature & Culture at Central Library.
