Jane Smiley Book Discussions

In preview of the appearance by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jane Smiley on Saturday, February 3 at 2 p.m. at Central Library, adults are invited to a series of book discussion programs featuring Smiley's books in January at various Indianapolis Public Library locations. Discussion programs will be led by an expert from the Indiana Writers Center.

Jane Smiley earned the Pulitzer Prize in 1992 for her bestselling novel, A Thousand Acres. Her most recent works are a trilogy of novels about an Iowa family. The third volume in the trilogy, Golden Age, was released in 2015.

Book discussion programs will be presented at the following times and locations:

Tuesday, January 2 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Glendale Branch, 6101 N. Keystone Avenue
