Read along stories play like a movie. They look like the sample shown here. The words to the story appear on the screen as the story is being read aloud. As each word is pronounced, it is highlighted. Read along stories are great reading practice! They are great for car trips because you can check out several to your device and change them out when you want new ones. We have three different e-book read along services you can use to read e-book read alongs. These services are called OverDrive/Libby, Hoopla, and the Tumblebook Library. We also have something new in our libraries called VOX books. VOX books are print books that have a built-in audio player inside. The next time you visit, ask about where to find them!
You can check out e-book read alongs for kids from OverDrive. You can read them in a computer browser or in the OverDrive app call Libby.
