IndyPL System Maintenance to Curtail Some Services

From January 17 – 31, The Indianapolis Public Library will perform system maintenance that will provide long-term database infrastructure to allow the Library to better serve the community.

With the exception of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 20, all IndyPL locations will remain open during regular hours to offer regular programming. While patrons will still be able to browse the Library’s online catalog, they will not be able to log into their accounts for such online functions as placing requests and renewing materials.

To check out e-Books, e-audiobooks and streaming services, patrons should use the websites or apps for such services as OverDrive, Hoopla and Kanopy whose links can be found on the Library’s “Download and Stream” page on its website.

Throughout the period, items will not be due nor will fines accrue.

To learn more and for information about other service availability, patrons can ask a librarian at their local branch or visit the Indianapolis Public Library's blog.
