Community Forums Planned for New Eagle Branch Library

February 22, 2017 — Westside residents of Indianapolis are invited to offer their suggestions for a new branch of The Indianapolis Public Library to replace and relocate the current Eagle Branch during a series of community forums beginning Monday, March 6 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Enlace Academy (former site of IPS School #108), 3725 N. Kiel Avenue.

Historic East Washington Branch Reopens February 24!

February 7, 2017 — Improved access, new computer lab and updated community room are among the many features awaiting patrons when the freshly-renovated East Washington Branch of The Indianapolis Public Library, 2822 E. Washington Street, reopens its doors to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 24.


Indy Library Cited for Excellence in Financial Reporting

January 30, 2017 — For the 26th consecutive year, The Indianapolis Public Library has received the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
