July 11, 2018 — Six writers with Indiana ties have been named winners and finalists of the 2018 Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award, a program of The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation funded through The Glick Fund, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation.
June 29, 2018 — It's not too late for children and families to experience the joy of reading by registering for The Indianapolis Public Library's 2018 Summer Reading Program, "Everyday Superheroes," which continues through July 28 at all IndyPL locations. This year's theme builds on the recent popularity of superhero cinema and the stories of those who not only wear capes and tights, but also real-life heroes and she-roes in the community.
May 23, 2018 — Garfield Park resident John Andrews has been appointed to The Indianapolis Public Library Board of Trustees by the Indianapolis Public Schools to fulfill the four-year term vacated by Dr. David Wantz that continues through the end of 2019.
