Outreach Services brings the Library to your neighborhood. Services include public Bookmobile stops and community event appearances.
Public bookmobile stops occur in areas of the city that do not have library service nearby. At these stops, a wide range of materials are available, including books for adults and children, CDs, DVDs, and magazines. Holds can also be picked up during public stops.
The Bookmobile can be scheduled to visit your senior center, daycare, or community center, as well as festivals, fairs, and community events hosted by nonprofit organizations that can accommodate a 30-foot vehicle.
The Bookmobiles also are part of our Seed Library program!
The Outreach Services offices are located at the Library Service Center and are not open to the public. Books, magazines, large print books, audiobooks, and DVD's are available on the Bookmobiles for checkout. Patrons who would like to request materials may have holds delivered to Bookmobile Frog or Toad.
The Bookmobile schedule is subject to change without notice due to weather, traffic, or mechanical difficulties.
Bookmobile stops can be located on the map below. We have two bookmobile routes, the Toad Route, identified by blue on the map and the Frog Route, identified by red on the map below.
