Jackie has been the CEO of the Indianapolis Public Library since 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Masters of Library Science, both from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Initially, Jackie served the Library from 1988 until 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer and the Associate Director for Management Services. Previously, she served the State of Indiana as the President of the Indiana Economic Development Council and the City as the Executive Director of the Mapleton Fall Creek Development Corporation, as well as having served twelve years on the Indianapolis City-County Council. Jackie currently serves on the Board for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and the Immigrant Welcome Center.
