The Indianapolis Public Library Board of Trustees meets at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month, with the exception of December, which is held earlier.
All board meetings are expected to be held in-person at the Library location specified. Locations may change or be adjusted - check this page for any updates. Public comment can be made in-person at each regular board meeting. Messages can also be submitted to board members online.

The primary responsibility of the Board of Trustees Committees is to provide governance and policy reviews in the areas of finance; diversity, policy, and human resources; and facilities; which are described below:
2023 Library Board Committee Meetings at LSC, Room 226 on the following dates. Finance Committee meetings will be at 10:00am; Diversity, Policy and Human Resources Committee meetings will be at 11:30am; and Facilities Committee meetings will be at 1:00pm.
