The Library of Things is a special collection that lets you borrow more than just books! You can check out a wide variety of non-traditional items that support learning, creativity, and fun.

Box of things to borrow from the Library of Things including a drill, a guitar, a microscope, and a game paddle

The Library of Things gives community members a chance to borrow items they might not otherwise purchase because the items might be expensive or infrequently used. Borrowing items promote resource sharing and reduces waste. The collection can help borrowers explore new hobbies, learn new skills, or tackle home improvement projects without the initial investment of purchasing tools or equipment. Items are available in a variety of categories including: Arts & Crafts, Assistive Devices, Gardening, Household Tools, Musical Instruments, Outdoor Recreation, and more!
