Our Commitment

Open Access

All Library services are available to residents of the Library district without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We comply with City ordinances and honor the provisions of the City’s Human Rights Ordinance.

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

We strive to adhere to current technical standards set forth in Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in our ongoing effort to provide an accessible website for all users. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1, Level AA, the technical web content standard for state and local governments. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities but ultimately to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
