All our locations and website are ADA compliant. We offer large type books, audiobooks on CD, audio-described DVDs, closed caption DVDs, electronic books, and audiobooks for checkout. These materials can be requested for pick-up at any IndyPL location. All public computers feature Windows Magnifier.
In partnership with Easterseals Crossroads, we have installed accessible workstations in all of our locations to ensure all patrons have access to assistive technology.

These tools can “read” information to patrons, respond to voice commands and help people with learning disabilities and mobility limitations complete tasks like writing a document or accessing the internet. These workstations are available for all patrons, with shorter use periods than other stations to decrease wait times.

Library Express matches screened volunteers with Library users who are unable to visit their local Library branches due to physical/medical limitations. Library Express volunteers deliver Library materials to their assigned patrons on a regular basis as part of an ongoing service.
