Center for Black Literature & Culture Opens on October 21!
A new and unique space for Indianapolis that celebrates the rich heritage of those with African roots will be unveiled during the grand opening of the Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) on Saturday, October 21 from noon to 3 p.m. at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St. The entire community is invited to attend.

Indy Library Store Booksale: Always a Bargain!
Individuals can buy new and used books and other items at discount prices during the "Indy Library Store Booksale" on September 8 and 9 and September 14 - 16 at the Library Services Center, 2450 N. Meridian St.

Fall Children's Programs at IndyPL
Throughout the fall, toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the Library for a variety of fun and educational activities at The Indianapolis Public Library. As part of the Library's Ready to Read initiative, many of the programs are intended to enhance literacy skills, stimulate creativity, and prepare young ones for school.
