Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule
All Indianapolis Public Library locations will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22 and will be closed on Thursday, November 23 in observance of Thanksgiving Day. In addition, the Flanner House Branch will be closed on Friday, November 24.


Suggestion for Purchase

Patrons may suggest specific titles to be added to the library collection. This service does not include ordering titles for personal collections, nor can it be used to request the purchase of additional copies for titles already in our Online Catalog.

Titles not in the Library's collection may also be requested through Interlibrary Loan.

Maximum Number

Please limit your purchase suggestions to 1 title per form submission and 5 titles per week per cardholder. Additional requests will be returned to you unprocessed.

Notice of Purchase

Due to the large number of suggestions we receive, it is not possible to buy every request or respond individually to each recommendation. However, if a title you suggest is purchased, we will place a hold request for you. Your holds are listed under Hold Requests in My Account.
