About the Space

The Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) houses over 20,000 items showcasing Black history and culture throughout the African diaspora. This space is ideal for mid-size group gatherings. The CBLC is a public space and can only be rented outside of public hours. To rent the CBLC for an event, please email the Events Department or call them at 317-275-4200.

Size: 3,900 square feet
Capacity: 75 theater-style guests, 48 banquet, 75 standing

Pricing

  • $1,400 (standard rate) per day
  • $1,200 (not for profit rate) per day

Includes:

  • Parking in our underground garage
  • Restroom attendants throughout event
  • Tables and chairs
