Branch Space Rentals

Indianapolis Public Library locations have meeting rooms available during all public hours of operation. Spaces are available to rent at all locations except for Garfield Park and the InfoZone. For the full room rental policy, please refer to the Indianapolis Public Library Meeting Room Guidelines.

Booking

To reserve a meeting room, a fully completed and signed meeting room reservation form must be submitted for approval at least two (2) weeks in advance of the event. Many of the Library's rental spaces are popular and fill up quickly. Meeting rooms may be booked one (1) year in advance. Reservations for the following year are accepted beginning September 1.

Nonprofit Rental Fees

In fulfillment of our mission to provide access to ideas representing all points of view on all subjects, The Library offers space to area nonprofit organizations at a reduced rate. Nonprofit organizations must submit documentation of their nonprofit status to receive this discount.

  • There is no charge for the first four hour block.
  • Any amount of time over four hours will be $85.60.
  • Nonprofit groups may make two bookings per month at the nonprofit rate. Additional bookings in that month will be charged at the normal hourly rate.

For Profit Rental Fees

All required fees must be paid at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Use of Library meeting rooms is limited to the type of meeting or activity stated on the application.
  • The first four hour block will be $85.60.
  • Any amount of time over four hours will be an additional $85.60.
