The Marion County Board of Commissioners has appointed Dominique Davie to the Indianapolis Public Library Board of Trustees.

Davie has built a career in project management, information technology, and operational leadership. He currently works as an engineer, supporting process optimization, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and workforce development. His professional background includes advanced control systems engineering roles. He also has development experience in corporate and technological environments.

Davie is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology at Purdue University. He previously earned a degree in information technology.

He is credentialed in multiple professional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, robotic process automation, and robotics programming.

“I’m honored to join the Indianapolis Public Library Board of Trustees,” Davie said. “Libraries are essential engines of opportunity for Hoosiers of all ages. I hope to bring a practical, technology-forward perspective to the board to further enable the libraries’ ability to uplift our community and provide space for self-improvement.”

Davie’s term will run through January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2029.
