The Indianapolis Public Library has been recognized as an AchieveWELL 4-Star designated company through the Wellness Council of Indiana.

The Indianapolis Public Library has received the 4-Star AchieveWELL designation through the Wellness Council of Indiana. The Wellness Council of Indiana developed the AchieveWELL program to assist employers in creating a corporate culture that encourages and supports employee health through workplace wellness efforts.

The Indianapolis Public Library designation shows that the organization's efforts positively affect workplace health policies and environmental well-being.

AchieveWELL is divided into three levels: 3-Star, 4-Star, and 5-Star. Each level requires a set of standards to be achieved before an organization can qualify. The Indianapolis Public Library will be recognized at the 2025 Indiana Wellness Summit, taking place September 11 at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Noblesville.

“We are proud to receive the 4-Star AchieveWELL designation, which reflects our commitment to being a workplace of choice and fostering a workplace culture where the health and well-being of our employees is a priority,” said Gregory A. Hill, Sr., MLS, MSM, CEO of The Indianapolis Public Library. “We retain and develop talented staff and volunteers who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. When we invest in our team, we strengthen not only our organization but also the service we provide to our community.”

The Wellness Council of Indiana is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
